　The second day of the torch relay was scheduled to start from the Okinawa Karate Kaikan. However, since nine cities in the prefecture have been designated for priority measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the Okinawa prefecture executive committee has announced that the torch relay on public roads on the main island of Okinawa will not be held. The relay will be limited to the area around the Nago City Hall (Shimin kaikan) on May 1st and the Peace Memorial Park on May 2nd (Sun).
