"Hanagasa Mahae-chan", a PR ambassador character who conveys the joy of sightseeing in Okinawa, experienced karate at the Okinawa Karate Kaikan together with the three Miss Okinawa. Instruction was provided by Mrs. Matsujō Amane. Click here for the report (in Japanese) and some photos.
For 3 days from October 30th to November 1st, Okinawa karate demonstrations were held in front of Shuri Castle “Kōfukumon” gate. The event was co-sponsored by the Okinawa Prefecture government and the ODKS.

The Okinawa Dentō Karatedō Shinkōkai (ODKS) has published some information on its website regarding the use of dōjō in the prefecture following the declaration of emergency by Okinawa Governor Tamaki Denny. Go to the dedicated page.
Dōjō in the prefecture are requested to follow covid-19 non-spreading procedures and complete classes by 8:00 p.m. until the state of emergency ends on February 7.
