Notice on the 2017 “Karate Day” events
Karate day dedicatory demonstration
On October 25 (Wed.), at the Okinawa Karate Kaikan Special Dojo (Shurei no Yakata), with the aim of promoting “Okinawa, the birthplace of Karate”, a grand masters demonstration will be held as a commemoration of “Karate no hi – Karate Day”.
Date and time: Wednesday, October 25, Heisei 20 (Wednesday) 13: 00-14: 00
Place: Okinawa Karate Kaikan Shurei no Yakata

Karate Day commemorating budōsai festival
On October 29th (Sun.) at Naha City Kokusai Street, in order to promote the “Karate no Hi – Karate Day” and “Okinawa, the birthplace of Karate” both locally and internationally, a commemorative demonstration will be held.
During the event, “Karate trial sessions” will be conducted by karate leaders for beginners. They will be followed by various demonstrations in different parts of the street.
