A special academic program titled “Okinawan Traditional Karate and Health in Life and Culture” is scheduled to take place. This course, a collaborative effort between karate practitioners and nurses who aspire to make meaningful contributions to the community, delves into the advantages of Okinawan traditional karate and its potential as a health-enhancing practice.

The program will feature live demonstrations of kata, the fundamental techniques of Okinawan traditional karate. Moreover, it will offer an extensive exploration of how karate can be integrated into a healthy lifestyle, along with a deep dive into the theory and philosophy underpinning kata practice.

This presents a unique opportunity to uncover the profound aspects of karate and gain fresh insights. The program will be conducted online in English, enabling remote participants to join in.
