Karate Day 2023 is just around the corner!
The Karate Day event will be held for two days, on October 25th (Wednesday) and October 29th (Sunday).
Come and experience the historical karate techniques and beauty that have been cultivated in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate!
The commemorative demonstration will be live-streamed worldwide on the official YouTube channel,
sharing the martial art of peace with the world.

Traditional techniques will be presented at the Okinawa Karate Kaikan Special Dojo to honor those who created, nurtured, and passed down karate. For more information about the dedication demonstrators, please visit the following website:

Please note that due to space constraints, the general public is not allowed to attend the “Inaugural Dedication.”
**Commemorative Performance:**
Sunday, October 29, 2023, 15:00-16:25 Japan Standard Time (UTC +9)
To commemorate Karate Day, karate practitioners and enthusiasts from around the world will gather along Kokusai-Dori (from in front of the Okinawa Prefectural Government Office to in front of the Bunka Tembusu Kan in Naha City) to perform a spectacular demonstration. These demonstrations are held in cooperation with the Okinawa Prefectural Government, which aims to promote the global spread of karate.
The demonstration will be performed in unison by all participants of “Fukyu Gata I,”
established by Okinawa Prefecture to promote karate’s spread across various regions.
The commemorative demonstration will also be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel.
